Well, spring break anyway!
Actually last night we got back from our little get-a-way to the Kalahari in the Dells with some friends. Boy, did we have fun. Who knew my kids were such fish? The only thing that held them back from trying every waterslide in the park was the height restrictions! The bigger the slide, the bigger the smile when we got going! They SO take after me! And I tried the "toilet bowl" or some kind of bowl, it sure felt like a toilet! It is this slide that starts way up high with a pretty good angle so you get some decent speed going before sending you into this circular tube where you spin around for a bit before gravity drops you down the center into a pool of water. Well I fell into that pool completely sideways with such force that my goody-bits needed to be readjusted in my swimsuit before coming back up for air. And when I came up for air, totally disoriented, the water coming from the "toilet bowl" was pouring over me so much I had a hard time figuring out where to go to get out (oh, and hard time breathing!). But it was a fun in a Oh-I-just-may-drown! kind of way!
Today we registered Ryan for his new school next year, Kensington. We registered Megan last week at St. Peter, so now all the really tough decisions have been made. Both kids got into the schools that were our first choices so we feel pretty good about our decisions. Of course so sad that we will be leaving St. Mary's, but since there is nothing that can be done about that we have to move toward a new future!
We don't have too much on our agendas for the remainder of this week. We are looking forward to the nice weather we are supposed to have, getting out in the sun, playing in the yard, and riding our bikes! And of course the spring cleaning that none of us is looking forward to, but oh so needed!
